Older Puppies & Young Adults
Very occasionally Wildwood will have an older puppy or young adult dog available to a new family. These dogs are usually either picks of our litters that we have decided not to keep for breeding, adult dogs who we are no longer breeding, or pups needing placing due to special circumstances.

Poppy as we have been calling her is a very special pup! She is the most loving and outgoing pup who wants nothing more than to be cuddled and follow her people.
​
We held onto Poppy because she has some special needs that are still in evaluation.
​
Poppy was born with an infection in her hind leg. Although now recovered, the infection damaged her knee joint and as a result she cannot bend it. This gives her a peg leg of sorts but this does not stop her from getting around and adventuring!
​
She is an active pup but will need continued evaluation as she continues to grow. Because she still has a lot of growing to do it is unclear what the final outcome will be for that limb. As of now it does not bother her and she uses it effectively to maneuver her world with little trouble.
​
Poppy is looking for a loving home with someone who wants a very loving and fun pup!

Jumpstart Training Option:
All pups have the option to go though our "Puppy Jumpstart" training program for the additional training fee. Adult dogs will have the option to go through a refresher and transition prep board and train for an additional training fee.
